In order to assure that Region 7 has plenty of food and beverage, advance registration is required. Instructions: 1. Members, log in first. 2. Register yourself (Member) and add your family members (Add Guest). 3. Answer the question about the number of children you are bringing. 4. When done, click "Complete Registration" button. Secluded on a peninsula, Shelter #6 is well shaded and has a volleyball court close by. It is approximately 150 yards from Restroom B and a fishing pier is a short walk away. Please note, this is not the same shelter used by Region 7 at C.B. Smith Park in the past. Come on out and enjoy the day! The picnic starts at 11:00 a.m. Meeting 12:00 Noon - 12:30 p.m. Lunch served 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. This is a free event for Region 7 members and their families (after you pay the $3.00 per motorized vehicle, with 8 or less occupants, park entry fee). Region 7 has retained G & C Catering, who will provide a delicious lunch of all beef hamburgers, Sabrett hot dogs, (and all the fixin's), Potato Salad, BBQ Baked Beans, Corn, Macaroni and Cheese, Soft Drinks, Cookies, and Watermelon. There is a nearby fishing pier, so bring a fishing pole (catch and release). There is also a volleyball court, and Region 7 will bring a cornhole game. Region 7 will raffle some water park tickets and gift cards. Rain or Shine - the picnic will go on!
